GROUNDED INNOVATIONS
Founded in 2021 by Matt and Emily Hamilton, Grounded Innovations is a premier electrical contracting firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to local contractors and homeowners. With decades of combined experience, we pride ourselves on our quality craftsmanship and reliability.
Matt's electrical career began in 1994 while he was still in high school, wiring homes near Boston. His passion for the mountains led him to Truckee, California, where he honed his skills and established a strong reputation in the community. In 2021, with Emily’s steadfast support, he launched Grounded Innovations, focused on quality, integrity, and outstanding customer service.
Emily brings extensive expertise in project management and operations, ensuring that each project runs smoothly and meets the unique needs of our clients. Together, they have built a skilled team of electricians and specialists committed to excellence.

As a family-oriented business, we foster a supportive work environment, viewing our team as an extension of our family. We aim to enhance our community through reliable, high-quality electrical services.
Outside of work, Matt and Emily cherish family time with their son, Dodge, exploring new destinations and enjoying winter activities like snowmobiling. Matt also competes in Melges 24 sailboat races in Lake Tahoe and the San Francisco Bay.
